On Linear Independence of Generators of FSI Distribution Spaces on IR

چکیده
A distribution space is called finitely shift invariant (FSI) if it is generated by a vector-valued distribution (generator) and its shifts. The linear independence of shifts of a generator is important in many applications. This paper provides a characterization for linear independence of the shifts of a generator of an FSI distribution space and presents a way to find the generators with linear independent shifts. The generators of some special FSI distribution spaces are discussed in detail. §
